Build Diary – Marco and Erika (Part 2 – the reveal!)

What are your favourite features?

(Erika). I love this small corner outdoors our bed room. I appreciate the light and the shadows in this small corner. It’s also truly popular with models that shoot right here. It performs actually very well with this gentle light-weight and the shade of the palm trees. I also enjoy the texture of the wall.

We did 6 or 7 various samples of polished concrete, every one was a small square. And we checked how it appears to be at distinctive moments of the working day. In the beginning, we thought we would opt for one particular color but we weren’t absolutely sure, so we invited a friend more than who hadn’t noticed it, and she advised us it really should be warmer. Then, we created a new sample that was a little warmer and it was best.

Thankfully, it was our own contractor who was overseeing every little thing. He used his own experts who only do this kind of terrazzo and polished concrete, so he produced positive they gave us just what we required.

(Marco) Even though we have not applied it so often, I genuinely like the pool. It has this Santorini vibe that I enjoy. The color of the water is perfect. I truly appreciate it!

Did you go in excess of finances?

In terms of the constructing, we were being on finances. This is since our contractor knew our spending budget and he realized that was it!
