Home Under Development In Ooltewah Weakened By Fire Sunday Early morning

A dwelling below building in Ooltewah was destroyed by hearth Sunday early morning.

Hamilton County 911 Communications received various telephone phone calls pertaining to a significant dwelling hearth that could be noticed from I- 75N.

At 7:30 a.m., the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Section responded to 9023 Balata Travel and arrived on the scene reporting a three-tale household less than development was completely included with fire. Fireplace officers noted embers flying via the air endangering adjacent houses.

A mutual help response was asked for for extra manpower, and hearth security to the adjacent households. The Chattanooga Fireplace Section, Freeway 58 VFD, Bradley County Fireplace Rescue and Catoosa County Hearth Department responded to the hearth scene. East Ridge Fire Division and Cleveland Fire Department stood by at Tri-Neighborhood fire stations for any extra 911 phone calls.

No accidents were reported, but Hamilton County EMS is on the scene for any probable injuries to the firefighters.

Considering that this was a new house underneath construction, no 1 was dwelling at the residence.

The trigger of the hearth will be less than investigation by the Tri-Neighborhood VFD Fire Marshal’s Business office.

Damages are not known at this time.
