Interior Design Masters winner redesigns Cornwall hotel apartment and it’s spectacular

This four bedroom holiday apartment is what dreams are made of. From its repurposed furniture to its warm, bright lighting, I could melt into a life of alfresco dining on the balcony, cocktails and coffee in the bespoke kitchen area and don’t even get me started on the bathtubs.
The apartment, named Winnow, at Watergate Bay Hotel in Newquay has been designed by Banjo Beale who was announced the winner of BBC One’s Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr on Wednesday evening (April 27). After weeks of competing in design challenges, Banjo was prized with his first, very own commercial contract to renovate this beachside eco holiday apartment.
As the series was recorded last summer, Banjo has been working on the project over the winter and it was finished only ten days ago. Despite the incorporation of beachy vibes, the space feels worlds away from your typical seaside interior with Banjo’s trademark Australian touches creating a perfect mix of cosy and chic.
