Yakima Artists to Help Provide Empty Windows Alive in Downtown

Are you a nearby artist? If so the Yakima Arts Commission is hoping you are going to get included in the Drop/Winter Downtown Yakima Home windows Alive! challenge.

The challenge fills vacant storefronts in downtown Yakima with community artwork. The fee is now getting apps with a deadline of 5:00PM, Tuesday, August 31. The intention by the commission is to have the display all set by mid-Oct. You can uncover facts and the software at windowsalive.com.

For quite a few many years the local arts fee has experienced the career of bringing nearby art to the downtown region. In fact this is the 10th year of Windows Alive!
The arts commission appears over apps and chooses six projects that will be highlighted in empty storefronts downtown.  Personal artists or teams who are picked to show their perform in the windows will be paid out a $250 stipend.

ALL Varieties OF Artwork IS WELCOME Which includes Different Materials

It doesn’t subject what your artwork is made of because all styles of artwork is welcome including paintings, drawings, fiber art, crafts, ceramics, pictures, option materials and sculpture.
The Slide/Winter season Windows Alive Venture will be situated on the north facet of Yakima Avenue involving Hotel Maison and 3rd Road.
